Natsumi Zama's 2 --> 3 Collection just won my heart. As a clothing designer it is hard not to love the drape of good fabric. Sometimes I like to pin the fabric to a dressform and just appreciate the way it naturally falls into graceful pleats and folds. Zama found a way to keep that gracefulness in fully functioning garments by patterning large swaths of fabric onto the back of button up shirts, dress pants and full length dresses. The use of minimal colors really helps you appreciate the flow of the fabric and the strength of her lines. Check out more of her work here.
