In a flood of Scorpionweeds and Beeplants

by Anna Marie Cooper June 16, 2014

Thank goodness for people like Guy Tal. Photographers who are out there documenting rare, precious, and beautiful events for people like us who spends our days furiously hovering over keyboards. Without him, these stunning moments of a wildflower bloom in the midst of the Badlands may have gone entirely unnoticed and unappreciated by the world at large. While I would like to think that maybe someday I would get to see this myself, I know the chances are extremely low. Generally, the Badlands are a empty, inhospitable expanse of parched ground. It takes a lot of time and dedication to catch something so delicate and fleeting. On that note, back to my toils, but a healthy thank you for the reprieve.
